Occupational Safety and Health Course (OSH)
The course is delivered over three consecutive days and is conducted in English by a certified OHS instructor. Teaching alternates between presentations, plenary discussions, and group work, ensuring a varied and engaging learning experience.
Participants are expected to prepare a practical assignment before the course, which forms the basis for many of the exercises and discussions during the training. Active participation is required throughout the course, and participants are encouraged to share their own experiences and challenges.
The course emphasizes application of knowledge in practice, and daily work tasks are set aside during course hours to allow full focus on learning and collaboration.

Participants gain the knowledge and skills required to effectively fulfill their role as health and safety representatives or work leaders within the occupational health and safety organization.They develop a solid understanding of working environment legislation and how to apply it in practice to create safe and healthy workplaces. In addition, participants learn to identify and manage potential risks, contribute actively to workplace assessments, and support the development of a strong safety culture.
By the end of the course, participants are better equipped to collaborate within the organization and ensure that their workplace meets legal requirements while promoting well-being.
Indhold
The course provides a comprehensive introduction to occupational health and safety work, including working environment legislation, roles and responsibilities, and the structure of the organization.Participants work with key tools such as workplace assessments (APV) and learn how to analyze risks and implement preventive measures. The content is closely linked to participants’ own workplaces, as they are required to reflect on their organization’s structure and current practices.
A practical assignment, prepared before the course, is used throughout the three training days to ensure relevance and direct application of knowledge.
Målgruppe
The course is designed for newly elected health and safety representatives and appointed managers who are required to complete the mandatory occupational health and safety training. It is also relevant for employees who play an active role in the occupational health and safety organization and want to strengthen their understanding of their responsibilities.The course is particularly suited for participants who are expected to contribute to workplace assessments, risk prevention, and ongoing improvement of the working environment.

BEFORE the training - the practical task:
Before the 3 days of training, you must prepare a practical assignment. You have received information by email.
Requirements for obtaining course certificate
You must be present throughout the training and participate actively.
Therefore - It will not be possible to solve daily work tasks during the course's active hours. (Any email answers/phone calls can only be done during the breaks)
You must complete the practical assignment BEFORE the 3 course days. This is used continuously on the three course days.
Meet our consultant and instructor
On the statutory occupational health and safety (OSH), you will meet instructor and senior consultant Christian Hjorth-Hansen. Christian has been training course participants in work environment for more than 5 years.
